ISIC webinar recording

In February of this year, I gave a lecture hosted by ISIC – Icelandic Sheepdog International Cooperation about the history of the Icelandic Sheepdog through the ages.

A recording of the lecture is now available on the ISIC website. It is in English and is titled “From Settlement to Survival: A Thousand Years of Iceland’s National Dog.” Please click the link to listen.

I spent several days preparing this lecture and enjoyed working on it, immersing myself again in the material I had collected, saved, or written about. I delved deeply into the literature to make sure I had all the context straight and could present it clearly. The result turned out quite well, and I’m very pleased that the lecture has been made accessible to everyone who is interested but may not have had time to join the live session in February.

I also recommend visiting the ISIC website and the other recordings available there; this year, three online lectures have been held.
